Mur Crafts is a Colombian cultural design company that creates exclusive pieces with artisanal influences, converted into the perfect reflection of tradition turned into art. By harmonizing young talent, their creative ideas, high-quality materials and the crafts of Llanos artisans as an expression of their customs, we managed to develop handmade 100% products that highlight the distinctive elements of the Eastern Plains of Colombia.
We
Mur Crafts was born in 2012 with Natalia and Tatiana Mejía, two twin sisters who decided to preserve the legacy of the wise men and cultural traditions of the eastern plains of Colombia through the conceptualization of art, design and tradition. In love with their Llanera roots and customs, they decided to combine the design and craft traditions of their region to create unique pieces, transformed into art.
Social responsability
Through the design and production of each of our pieces, Mur Artesanías has managed to transform prison spaces into workshops of hope and creativity for the inmates of the prisons of the department of Meta. Since 2012, dozens of men have used their hands to weave unique design pieces that reflect their dreams, the possibility of rejoining society and contributing to the strengthening of peace through art and cultural expressions of the region.
